Industry Canada has summarized in a practical table the U.S.
Department of Commerce (STAT-USA/Internet) research sources and
reports for many world regions and countries. The links available
correspond to: Country Analysis Briefs (CAB),Country Background

Analysis (ISA), International Market Insight (IMI), and the CIA

Organisation For Economic Co-operation and Development
For more than 40 years, OECD has been one of the world's largest and most reliable
sources of comparable statistics and economic and social data. As well as collecting
data, OECD monitors trends, analyses and forecasts economic developments and
researches social changes or evolving patterns in trade, environment, agriculture,
technology, taxation and more.

information about the nations and other areas of the world. They are arranged by

PMA - Produce Marketing Association
The PMA is a global trade association serving the entire produce and floral supply
chains by enhancing the marketing of produce, floral, and related products and services
worldwide. In addition to advocating for the industry in Washington, PMA is a source
for late-breaking news, information on industry trends, consumer and industry research,
education and networking opportunities, and industry standards and technologies.
SICE
SICE, for short, from its Spanish acronym - Sistema de Información al Comercio Exterior
(The "Foreign Trade Information System") is part of the Organization of American States
(OAS). Their goal is to provide complete information and documents on trade in the Western
Hemisphere. The website is in the four official languages of the OAS - English, Spanish,
Portuguese and French - Information about trade in North America, Carribean States and
Latin America.

world politics, business, finance, science and technology, as well as overviews of
cultural trends and regular industry, business and country special reports.
Trade Port
TradePort is a well designed tool offering one place to go for comprehensive trade
information, trade leads, and other types of useful information. The main menu offers
a large selection of market research information.
World Factbook
Profiles for all main world countries and basic information background
about the geography, people, government, the economy, communications, transports,

United States Trade Administration
